Imran Khan is the director of BotTala and serves as the head of Nandanik. He grew up surrounded by the water, mud, soil, and people of Khulna. From an early age, he dreamed of expressing his thoughts and ideas to people through creative mediums. That was when his journey into writing began.
Currently, he is regularly working as a director in theatre, television, films, documentaries, and commercials. The stage plays directed by him — Somoyer Proyojone, Tatro Pore Jotro Dogdho, and Jojongondha Maya — have been highly appreciated by audiences. He has also earned recognition for his work in lighting design and stage decoration in theatre productions.
Imran Khan dreams of equality among people and a greener world, and these are the messages he wishes to convey through his work. In recognition of his contributions to theatre, he received the Nasiruddin Nadim Smriti Bottola Natyakormi Award 2014.
