Sheyuti Shahgufta

Sheunti Shahgufta is a director of BotTala and is in charge of development. She was born and raised in the vibrant city of Dhaka. For the past 15 years, she has been actively working on stage with BotTala.

From childhood, she stood out in any crowd because of her powerful voice. Continuing that journey, her voice has been heard for more than 15 years in advertisements, OVCs, IVRs, and documentaries in both Bangla and English.

She completed her Master’s degree in English and is currently working at a private television channel. As a performer with BotTala, she has left a strong impression through productions such as Khona, The Trial of Mallam Ilyia, Modhu Shikari, Bonnatherium, Ar Noy Chup Thaka, Pothe Jatugriho, Sundarban Gatha, and Abar Falgun.

She has always been, and wishes to remain, a strong voice against injustice, oppression, and irregularities. In recognition of her contributions to theatre, she received the Ethic Tarunya Sommanona 2024.
