Moon Islam’s journey in acting began through formal training in the 9th batch of Actors’ Studio, BotTala’s acting school. Her first significant step into the world of performance came through participating in the school production of Muktadhara by Rabindranath Tagore. This experience deeply inspired her and sparked a lasting passion for theatre and acting.
Since 2024, she has been actively involved in BotTala’s mainstream theatre productions. Through her performances in Khona, Jojongondhamaya, and Roktojoba, she has continued to develop herself as a promising stage performer.
Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Film & Media at Stamford University Bangladesh. Alongside her academic studies, she serves as a committee member of the university’s Drama Society, where she actively participates in stage productions, cultural events, and departmental activities. In addition to acting, she has a deep passion for dance and is actively engaged in the practice of ballet, Manipuri, and classical dance forms. Her eagerness to learn and explore new experiences continuously fuels her creative growth.
Moon finds great joy in spending time close to nature—especially with the earth, trees, and the simple beauty of the natural world. With dedication, perseverance, and a profound love for the performing arts, she continues her journey toward becoming a skilled and accomplished actress.
